Composer’s Notes
This is my setting of Robert Frost’s well-known two-stanza poem that ends with the lines “I shan’t be gone long. You come, too.” It is one of my best-selling anthems for children, quite easy to learn and accompany. It has been sung frequently by elementary school choirs as well as independent community children’s choirs.
