Composer’s Notes
I arranged this anthem for my adult choir in 1990. It has since been used widely by church, high school and college choirs. MorningStar has an alternative piano part, much harder (but very cool!), which was played ad lib by Paul Oakley for their demo recording and then transcribed. The First Plymouth Church of Lincoln, Nebraska (see video on this page) added children’s voices to the ensemble.
