Composer’s Notes
This set of hymns is the first of many commissions I received from the Solovey Strings, a professional trio in the Twin Cities that was active in the 1990’s. The hymn tunes used are: BRADBURY (Savior, Like a Shepherd Lead Us), NEW BRITAIN (Amazing Grace), and TRYGGARE KAN INGEN VARA (Children of the Heavenly Father).
