Composer’s Notes
My favorite melody of Marty Haugen’s is “Healer of Our Every Ill,” and I have received permission from GIA to sell my two recent settings for either solo organ or for solo piano. Written in the summer of 2020, recordings are not yet available. But since you love to sightread (and just how solid are your 2’s against 3’s?), I have attached the opening pages for you to print off and read through. This setting is dedicated to Megan Engel, Director of Music and Worship (and the fine collaborative keyboardist with my adult choir) at Bethel Lutheran in Northfield, Minnesota. Also new for solo organ or piano is my setting of “We Gather Together”.
