Commissioned by Ames (IA) Chamber Artists, this work received its premiere in 1999. The text is a beautiful ancient Irish prayer that was suggested to me by my friend Ron Klug. It can be found in a book by David Adam entitled The Open Gate: Celtic Prayers for Growing Spiritually.
