Composer’s Notes
In 1994, the Northfield (MN) Youth Choir was invited to sing on a nationwide broadcast of Garrison Keillor’s New Year’s Eve Special from the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul. I arranged this setting of a wonderful Swedish carol for that occasion. It was premiered with members of the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, Cora Scholz conducting. It is available with or without the orchestration.
