This piece was premiered in 1985 by then 14-year-old prodigy Brian Krinke. I was a T.A. at the University of Minnesota and gave the piece to Brian who had been my student (Freshman Theory as a 12-year old!). Two weeks later he was playing it from memory.
Contemplative arrangements of “Savior, Like a Shepherd Lead Us,” “Amazing Grace,” and “Children of the Heavenly Father.” Especially appropriate for worship. Level: Medium.
